  4. Hi, guys! Hope you're settling in, getting used to the culture, the language, the everything. And congratulations on a great experience. I saw a picture of Jude Carroll (Clint's little guy) the other day, wearing a "Hey, Jude" tee shirt. So cute. I still have just grandcats and a granddog--fine by me. Saw Jacob and the grandcats yesterday. We went to Hastings, and Jake got some very strange-looking movies. Have you seen The Gift with Cate Blanchett? Kinda scary for me, but I liked it. Right now, I'm reading My Sister's Keeper, which Megan recommended. I wanted to see the movie but was afraid it would be depressing. Randy baptised a kid in Lake Murvaul last Saturday. Most Methodists sprinkle, but they can dunk too. School starts for teachers next week and on Aug. 24 for kids, but (pay attention, now) Logansport teachers started August 3, and the kids start August 5! They get a fall break, but still. It's back to high 90s after a week of rain and lower temps (but HUMIDITY, of course). Well, that's just Texas, I guess. Bye.

  5. Hey Brooke and Reid! I hope all is well. I know you are experiencing great things and some not so great, but that is what makes it an adventure. Kids all say HI! Be safe and take care. I love you both. Aunt Deb

  7. Hey~ I tried to call you on my skype account, but it said "phone network error" and gave me this msg about "no answer" but in fact it only rang once...so I dont know what's wrong with either my internet phone...or your cell phone...since Brittany also mentioned about something wrong with the phone call...I want to go with...you need to check your phone...but apparently your mom has been calling you just fine...may be it's my problem...
But anyway~ I just want to call you to surprise you and wish you all well. Will try to call again sometime later~
School is about to start, and this semester I am going without your help...AAAHAHHHHHH~~~

  8. Hello! I hope you are both well. We just had a big snowstorm last night, but as usual hee, it's melted off. Zoe went to the vet today for hernia surgery, but she is doing well; in fact, she's at my feet right now. Let us know how you are. Everyone is fine here, I'm just working a lot!

    Love,

    Aunt Renee
